NEW ORLEANS, February 5, 2026 – The Women in Agribusiness (WIA) Summit will celebrate its 15th anniversary event, September 22-24, 2026, in New Orleans, the city that first hosted the now iconic Summit for the advancement of women in ag.
Now established as the premier event to empower, connect and elevate women in agrifood systems, this year’s event promises partnerships with the United Nations’ Food & Agriculture Organization (FAO) in recognition of 2026 being the International Year of the Woman Farmer, special profiles on women in farming, and expanded recognition for WIA Demeter Award of Excellence recipients and student scholarship winners.

“At Women in Agribusiness, we are business focused, providing content that is carefully curated and crafted to be reflective of industry issues to ensure we build the knowledge base of our attendees,” said Svitlana Synkovska, WIA’s portfolio director. “Anchored by that foremost requirement for our Summits, we weave in professional development topics, regional ag showcases and tours, and robust networking opportunities for a comprehensive experience that fosters community, collaboration, and lasting ambition.”
The three-day Summit, which annually attracts more than 800 attendees from nearly all U.S. states and a dozen countries, regularly includes more than 60+ speakers, 20+ sessions and unique breakout discussions, and over 25 hours of networking. More than 50% of attendees are in leadership roles with decision-making authority, and women from all demographics and from along the ag value chain – from inputs to production to distribution – will be in the audience.
Over 250 companies attend the Summit, nearly 50 sponsors – like Syngenta, Cargill, Nationwide and Wells Fargo – uphold its place in the sector, and dozens more – RFD Network, Successful Farming, Farm Progress, World Grain – provide media and promotional support through partnerships.
Join us at the event with the early bird rate, now available until Feb. 27. Take an additional 10% off with this code at registration: ATTEND.
